Gingival Cuff Links® (GCL) come in two systems and heights: Shaped or Round, and Short or Long.
Shaped vs. Round: Shaped have an anatomical structure for better appearance on placement. Round use a round body for ease of placement. Round GCL’s are ordered by the diameter of the healing cuff needed while shaped are ordered by tooth number.
Short vs. Long: Short rises a few millimeters above the gingiva optimizing for fast and easy placement. Long rises to the height of the full tooth giving the best form and look for your patient.
GCL is easily customizable allowing the physician the ability to shape the gingiva and healing cuff for the best look during healing and after crown placement. You can add to the cuff using flowable composite. You can remove from the healing cuff using a burr to remove to the desired shape.
*Please note: some abutment types are more expensive due to manufacturing complexity and cost. The increase in price is located next to the abutment type during selection if applicable.
